Work with link score and internal opportunities

See where internal authority flows and turn weak discovery paths into an action list.

02

Start with opportunity classes

Orphan pages lack internal discovery. Bodyless pages receive links only from repeated interface areas. Low-score pages receive little relative authority. Deep pages require many clicks. Each class points to a different repair, so they should not be merged into one generic link list.

03

Use anchor and placement evidence

Check whether the proposed source is relevant, whether the destination already receives repeated anchors, and where the new link will sit. A useful contextual link should help the reader reach the next needed page, not exist only to manipulate a score.

04

Verify on the next crawl

After implementation, confirm that the link is crawlable, placed in the intended region, and reflected in the destination's inbound profile. Then review whether depth and link score moved as expected.
