Follow every recommendation to evidence
A briefing item should open the crawl, query, traffic, ranking, backlink, or AI visibility record that supports it. Check the date and scope before assigning work. A recommendation without a source should be treated as guidance, not a measured fact.

Portfolio compares sites, while Briefing explains the next move inside the active workspace. Use Portfolio to decide where attention belongs, then use Briefing to decide what to do there.
